Cotton flame retardant fabrics can be divided into cotton flame retardant plain cloth, cotton flame retardant yarn card, cotton flame retardant tribute and cotton flame retardant canvas according to different textures.
At present, the most useful flame retardant finishing in the world is generally plubenzene flame retardant and CP flame retardant.
Flame retardant fabrics take plubenzene flame retardant as an example, and are used as Proban flame retardant, which is a durable finishing flame retardant for cotton fiber and its blended fabrics, and its main feature is that after the use of this flame retardant is used to produce and finish, it forms a cross-link inside the fabric, so that it has durable flame retardant performance and can be washed for more than 50 times. This flame retardant fabric can effectively prevent the spread of flames and maintain the original properties of the fabric. Flame retardant properties up to EN470-1, EN531, EN533 NFPA2112.
The detection methods are as follows:
1. There should be no burning spread to the edge of the fabric or the upper end of the fabric after ignition on any test sample.
2. There should be no holes formed in any test sample after ignition.
3. There should be no burning droplets or melt droplets falling in any test sample after ignition.
4. The combustion time must be less than or equal to 2 seconds.
5. The flame retardant time must be less than or equal to 2 seconds.
